World Intellectual Property Day #worldipday
World IP Day is an opportunity to highlight the role that IP rights (patents, trademarks, industrial designs, copyright in music, literature or films) play in encouraging innovation and creativity. A balanced IP system recognizes and rewards inventors and creators for their work and ensures that the society benefits from their creativity and ingenuity.
This year’s World Intellectual Property Day theme -REACH FOR GOLD: IP AND SPORTS – takes a closer look inside the world of sports. It explores how innovation, creativity and the IP rights encourage, protect and support the development of sport and its enjoyment around the world.
